Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve Celebrates World Photography Day

The prince mohammed bin salman royal reserve: has concluded an intensive six-month photography skills program, coinciding with World Photography Day. The program aimed to equip residents to become visual storytellers, documenting the reserve's landscapes, biodiversity, and environmental conservation efforts through photography.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Reserve CEO Andrew Zaloumis explained that the program is designed to document the reserve's unique stories and experiences through photography. Images captured by residents reflect their individual perspectives, distinctive experiences, and memorable adventures.

The program began with a two-day training course for 36 members of the reserve's team, focusing on the fundamentals of smartphone photography. Of the participants, 13 graduates -- nine men and four women, including environmental inspectors, biologists, and community development specialists -- were selected for an advanced course in professional DSLR photography led by renowned photographer Angela Buckland.

The program highlighted the experiences of several graduates, including environmental inspector Abdullah Al-Huwaiti, who focused on showcasing the reserve's conservation efforts by documenting its landscapes, wildlife, and the daily work of field inspectors.

The reserve is currently preparing to host a national photography exhibition in 2027 and incorporate a new video production training program into its development initiatives.
