According to Saudi Press Agency, bird gardens in the region range from open recreational parks and private sanctuaries to specialized stores dedicated to breeding local, ornamental, and rare species. Some sanctuaries span thousands of square meters and offer natural environments that mimic original bird habitats.

Bird gardens have emerged as a preferred destination for families and wildlife enthusiasts, with the ornamental bird market growing into an increasingly lucrative sector. This growth aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to develop tourism and improve the quality of life.
