Aseer: The National Center for Falcons, in collaboration with the National Center for Wildlife and the Special Forces for Environmental Security, has initiated a focused field assessment of peregrine falcon nesting sites in the Aseer Mountains.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of the "Hadad" conservation program, which was launched in 2021. The mission's objectives include documenting natural breeding grounds, monitoring vulnerable falcon populations, and working towards restoring the ecological balance in the region.

Waleed Al-Tawil, a spokesperson for the center, highlighted the importance of integrating state law enforcement with the traditional knowledge of local falconers.
