Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Records Decline as Parallel Market Rises

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange main index concluded trading for the day with a decline, shedding 27.19 points to close at 11,006.80 points. The trading activity saw a total value of SAR4.9 billion, with 241 million shares changing hands.

According to Saudi Press Agency, while the main index experienced a downturn, the Saudi Parallel Market Index (NOMU) showed a positive trajectory, gaining 57.13 points to close at 23,055.81 points. Trading on NOMU had a value of SAR15 million, with more than two million shares traded, indicating a contrasting performance compared to the main market index.
