A force from the Second Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out today, Wednesday, a preemptive security operation in the desert of Najaf.

The Popular Mobilization Commission stated in a statement: "The security operation included conducting a field survey of the desert of Najaf, as part of a series of operations carried out by the brigade's forces to secure the ceremonies of the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)."
