Amman, Jordan reported as many as 809 new cases of the novel Coronavirus, raising the overall toll of infections to 724,154.

Meanwhile the tally of recoveries rose to 703,643 following reporting another 1272 cases.

On the other hand, 16 deaths were reported, putting the death number at 9,259.
